I like sticking silly little details in the background of books I illustrate - it’s nice when people notice them! Somebody just remarked upon ‘Pants of Fear’ in the background Of this Dennis the Menace book - this is a film that needs to be made surely?!?
Last night's dream featured an assortment of lost guitars, some illicit drug use & adventures in bizarre shopping centre / music festival hybrids. (The Fender Jazzmaster's safe, I checked this morning!)

In my dream after a long tortuous journey I ended up in a pub at closing time with Christopher Eccleston* & offered him a drink - he was drinking red wine & thought it was called 'Narvik'. A load of other people turned up & I ended up begrudgingly having to buy a massive round.

I was wearing some distressingly awful grey shoes in my dream & suddenly noticed they were covered in blood - I I investigated further & my toe had come off! It seemed to reattach itself later whereupon I started trying to work out if I was dreaming or not. These hot nights eh?

My riduclously far-fetched dream involved a tortuous journey through a subterranean passage lined with fossilised trees to interrupt Morrissey & Mike Joyce recording a new song together (I TOLD you it was far-fetched!)

My dream last night featured me having to execute endless awkward entrances into various rooms… (In other news, I saw Backrooms at the cinema this week which feels like they opened up my head & scraped up some of my subconscious- I might sue! ; )
My dream inviolved having to improvise a play at the last minute where I was playing a bitter divorcee who broke down in his car on the way to drop Xmas presents to his estranged kids whilst fretting about his terrifying father in law (whose name I couldn't remember!)
