Trump admin announcing that they will withhold funds from states who refuse to "scrub their data rolls". Clear intention they want to remove people who they perceive and not being eligible to vote regardless of evidence against the individual.

Ian Duncan Smith saying the language being used on social media (and we all know he means X) is the "root of violence and death", is the same Ian Duncan Smith that keeps posting and retweeting on that hell-site. If the platform is so dangerous, why do you (and most other MPs) keep using it?

Made a request on TurnItIn to see a copy of an MA dissertation another student may have plagiarised from. Have now had 7 academics respond to the auto-request email. Not sure what the module set up is at the uni I requested from, but surely TII could have a more efficient system to deal with this?

It's something I particularly focus on in one of my modules. I think this quote by Kovacs et al goes some way to explaining the paradox of Farage's 'authenticity'. “it is ultimately not about the facts per se but rather about interpretations regarding those facts”

From one of my 'Media History and Society' lectures. Why is Snapchat, Instagram, Reddit and YouTube being banned but not Pintrest, Vimeo and World of Warcraft?
They don't even know yet how they are even going to enforce the ban. And OFCOM being 'rapid' means it could be well over a year before anything actually happens.
