Karin has been on her own in brief stints when she was younger, being left in the forest alone for several days and taking down 50 bulls by herself. She has not, however, faced a challenge like Necalli would give her. Imagine an immortal beast who only exists to eat her. (No Necalli gifs on Bsky?)

I will go to my grave saying Karin deserves her own horror game spinoff. Very few horror games where the lead protagonist is a fighter, but Karin's character development should come from when she has a hungry monster chasing her that won't die and she can only rely on her fists.
