I would also suggest (north of but near the bristlecones, which I HIGHLY recommend) the east side of Yosemite, where you'll find tons of junipers that should be good sized for this purpose, and some with a view of half dome. You can base out of Mammoth for both!
Having seen “The Odyssey” twice (once in 70mm IMAX!), IMHO the debate om whether Athena is “real” misses the point. In Nolan’s telling, she never takes any action, or provides instruction or assistance as she does in the poem. By not “acting” in Nolan’s, her “reality” doesn’t impact the story. 📽️

Since I can't stop thinking about the level of variance in brand mentions on LLM platorms and AEO monitoring. As an update to my previous thread, when I compare the results for asking a question 5x per day vs. 200x per day, the st dev of the results drops DRAMATICALLY. From 16pp to 2pp for Brand #1.
As I mentioned above, I built an automated LLM brand monitor in Claude Code to run daily for a basket of brands from a previous job, asking each question only 5x a day. You can see the variance here -- much worse for Brand 1 (0% on 7/14), which has far lower brand awareness than the others. 8/12

Spent today hiking amongst the oldest living organisms on earth, the Bristlecone Pines in Bishop CA. The oldest in this grove is more than 4800. Amusingly, they also have had some seeds spontaneously sprout recently around the visitors center. SO CUTE. #bonsai
