Sorry to say it but this looks pretty blatantly AI-generated to me. There are lots of areas of the image that don't make any logical sense and wouldn't have been chosen by a human artist. This area I clipped below is particularly bad. The broken horizontal lines throughout are also a dead giveaway.
Incredible news from Chiroptera Press this morning about a new Ligotti collection next year! Also today is Ligotti’s birthday but it feels deeply unfitting to wish him a “happy” birthday (maybe condolences are more appropriate 🤔).
Fatal viruses that lie dormant for years. Arachnids living on your eyelids. Dead twins buried deep inside your body. Learn about these and other true medical horrors in "A Brief Lexicon of Maladies", an illustrated supplement to my piece "The Night Clinic". marrowmagazine.com/a-brief-lexi...
Thrilled to share that my debut publication is out today in Marrow Magazine. "The Night Clinic" is a weird tale of medical horror about contagion, hypochondria, and the search for a diagnosis. Check it out here marrowmagazine.com/the-night-cl... with stunning art by @thomasriesner.bsky.social
