Time to 100% the game again! And they have fixed HDR on linux it seems!

My monitor can now do 1932 nits in HDR. #StarCitizen can only go up to 1499. Sadge.

Fixed, kind of. Had to use Special K in scRGB mode. No HDR colour gamut but at least it looks great now and is bright AF. Imagine it in this picture but a lot flatter and dull, no popping highlights or anything. The age of HDR social media photos can't come soon enough.

And that is the end of the Pax Autocratica Prologue (demo). HUGE potential. I cant take a screenshot of the combat because it needs your full attention but its great and the level design is amazing for a pre-early access. A wide variety of everything too.

The fun part about this is when I download a game, I dont have to run windows at all, I can just download it through Linux steam and keep playing games. Just needed to recompile my kernel with NTFS support (It literally just got a huge driver re-write). This is what a naked NTFS Windows looks like.

The next few months are gonna be fun. Additionally, Squadron42 and GTA6.

Just discovered Cities Skylines 2 has a UK Pack. Now to zone extremely depressing, ultra-narrow council houses where the door is right on the pavement and it looks really run down.

New Siri is here. Although baked into many things, this is the main thing.

#macOS #macOS27 I wonder why they haven't removed Automator yet either. And, why not just merge all the dedicated AI apps into the new Siri app? Why not put the Chess app on the App Store? I'm sure some things under Utilities could also be consolidated.

What is one of the main reasons I love Linux and lightweight desktop environments over Windows? You basically get a free RAM and VRAM upgrade. This is with Discord and Steam open btw, both of which use about 1GB RAM and roughly 500MB VRAM.
