Mixed tacos from Casazul in the Open Market. Can't decide between the pibil or the mole as my favourite but they were all excellent. Really good service too 🍜
Mrs H inherited two rhubarb plants at her allotment and the first crop was... woody. I ate it but it took about an hour to cook down. That plant has now gone dormant and other has suddenly started growing like there's no tomorrow!
Fish with harissa and butter beans. I used sea bream because that happened to be available but any white fish fillet will be nice with this 🍜
I'd absolutely love an electric version of a DS/GS/CX/BX and I feel like the market is there for comfort, light weight, style and space.
Found this in a charity shop a couple of years ago and it went up today. I think it looks great, the exterior just needed a little bit of #greyhound

My wife got an allotment at the end of last year and this is the first meal cooked with produce from it (the rhubarb) 🍜
Pretty sure this is the first time this year we've exported more than we imported, that's a profit on the day! First time I've worn a t-shirt in 2026 too, not a cloud in the sky all day.
Totally true. I once fostered a neglected dog when her owner went into hospital, entirely due to the actions of the landlady at the owner's local. She probably saved both person and dog.
Yessss! Exporting electricity for the first time this year. Lovely and sunny outside.
My presentation skills haven't improved but that Valentine dinner was delicious. Not even boasting, most of it was down to the quality of the meat. Don't think I've ever had a steak that tender. 🍜
#BurnsNight dinner. I bloody love #haggis, really should have it more often. I went for gravy rather than the classic whisky cream sauce, just really fancied it (the Good Food veggie gravy recipe) 🍜
For the record the first push-button phone I used was very similar to this one.
I'm up to The Undiscovered Country in the current rewatch. I was only 11 when it came out but I do remember seeing it at the cinema. Watching as an adult I get something new every time - WoK will always be my favourite but this is objectively a better film. Every line resonates with the Cold War.
Boiled this swede under a lid for 40 minutes, mashed it and it was still stringy and hard - far too unpleasant to eat. Had it been hanging around since last autumn? Or did I cock it up somehow? 🍜
