Next up on the painting desk on the road to Worlds 2026, is my take on the Length Vexilor. This was a last minute addition to my list, one which I was very happy about as it meant I could do a Stormcast version of the collage banners that I make for my Soulblight army.
Can't stand the silly portaloo so I scratch built a Stormportal for myself. Trying to finally get this army finished in time for Worlds next month.
Here's a fun list though. Turning the fate point engine to 11. In theory it should generate 20 points by turn 3, at which point you have 5 x 20 dice Infernal Gateways (average 50 mortal wounds), Simulacrum doing 47 attacks with Crit mortals and Arcanites moving 20" in your opponents hero phase 🤌

Not Draugr but I think in the same wheel house. The idea for these was they were made from ancient alien bones lost and forgotten somewhere in the mortal realms. I found loads of old bone pictures for reference and was struck my the amount of colours in them, hence all the variety in colouring.
Popped this guy on the spinny thingamajig. NGL, swapping out the Radukur chest for a Stormcast breastplate and still making the cloak and wolf fit around it was maybe one of the hardest conversions I've every and I would like someone to appreciate that level dedication to theme. Thank you. 😅
After almost 10 years of working on The Erstwood, I finally decided that the main character needs a model. This is Iöthys. Who knows, maybe this means I'll actually start sharing my story in 2026. Happy New Year!
