@tested.com So I discovered these at a recent art festival: They’re made in the Czech Republic out of etched glass. They don’t wear down, you can clean them, and they come in multiple sizes and - *grits* - for lack of a better word. There is also a version with a *novel* buffing surface…!
Raising a can to the great John Blanche of WH40K+ fame: RIP. You peered into the Eye of Terror and pulled forth these wonderful furry, sooty, corpulent nuggets and trapped them in 2-D space… we are the better for his work being In the world…!

Here’s the last “before” picture. There’s actual *flaking* occurring on the top, and I’ve never encountered that before now…!
I have - historically - been very bad at posting pictures of my work; here is an attempt to remedy that: I do some restoration of old tools, and here’s a splitting maul(before).
I made a series of knives based on *Homestuck* characters: I sure as shit *Didn’t* do that for money or fame…! Having said that, I am quite pleased with them. In order: Tavros, Gamzee, Rose, Kanaya. Vriska, Dave, and Jade. I’ll end there, since I don’t know your knowledge/interest in Homes or Stuck.
