Hot weather update ⚠️With the extremely hot and humid weather this week, we're keeping a close eye on the temperatures at our visitor centres. Lackford Lakes is closed on Wed 24th and Thurs 25th June. Carlton Marshes is open as normal for now.

June Wildlife to spot in Suffolk!✨ At this time of year, you might spot a Swallowtail Butterfly or Dragonfly darting around. The rare nightjar and glow-worm are harder to spot, but at Blaxhall Common Nature Reserve you may spot them in the evening!
