honestly as a lesbian and f/f enjoyer i wish ppl would stop treating shipping f/f as like. something you are a superior #feminist for only because it results in such a weird attitude around it. like i want people to care abt f/f because they are genuinely compelled by interpersonal dynamics and chemistry between characters and not just as moral posturing or even as a 'well since these het relationships are bad lets throw them into a wholesome chungus relationship where theyre so good for each other and that will solve aaaaaaaall the misogyny problems' like idk many such cases where the f/f thats messy and where they treat each other badly is also the f/f where characters are most respected and written as realistic and complete people. like why do only men get to be tragic and toxic and women just have to be niceys and fix each other. which is to say if u dont care about f/f its fine! genuinely! you dont have to! id rather have the niche be taken up by ppl who are in it for the actual love of the game instead of having it be treated as a chore or as an easy fix to any writing problems without any additional in depth thought on the matter
