I almost wanted to do "sit back and watch your women work" but I thought perhaps that one wouldn't make sense if you haven't read it and also? It's apparently not in the official translation??? A tragedy

Omg I was so busy today I missed that it was Vash's birthday. Love and peace!!

Myself cosplaying as Vash the Stampede, very specifically the original manga version. I am in a sort of construction-y looking site with lots of bare concrete and dirt. I have one foot up on a broken concrete barrier and I'm flashing Vash's crossed fingers peace sign and smiling at the camera

Not putting it in the thread because I'm not trying to get TOO distracted but dang Yuri has so many great outfits

Usually it appears to be just a single rectangle of fabric, belted around the waist and pinned at the shoulders. Some of the fancier ones are open on both sides/have seams up both sides, rather than being one piece. I'll probably do the tunic like this, tho, even if I gussy it up a bit

Anyways even tho it's technically Kail's sword in the photo I might do a sort of mix - slightly longer than Yuri's but with a sheath more like hers (since it's simpler). I'm also debating adding some trim to the little tunic number. She actually has a lot of fun variations on a simple theme...

This actually makes sense when I think about it since it's the cover of volume two. Anyways Yuri's dagger is only about the length of her forearm, and although I think it later gets a sheath more like the one for Kail's sword, originally it's nothing fancy

I'm not sure this is a good picture per se but it is kind of hilarious

A Trumpeter Swan (Cygnus buccinator) standing in shallow water facing to the right of the frame. It is standing on one leg. The leg closest to the viewer is held up under its wing, sticking out behind it like it's stretching (except it wasn't, it was just standing like that). It has its long neck tucked behind its body, except its head is just high enough for it to glare directly at the viewer from over its own back. It is kind of silly. This is a white bird with a black face, except this one is very muddy right now so only its wings are white at the moment.

I love these leggy friends. Used to see them all the time in TX so happily surprised to see them here! It was really far away so this one is perhaps a bit fuzzier than some other ones but look. It found a thing.
