After a long drive up the Fleur de Lis Trail this is our morning view. It is quiet here. I thought home was quiet but this is really quiet. I can hear leaves rustling and birds. No tractors.

We had snow last night and the garden looks like this. Although this was taken after a different snowfall a few weeks ago. Must go shovel now.

This is what was advertised. But it is not available. I googled Roger's internet Nova Scotia. What I can get is $30 month more. My only other option are Bell at twice the price and a hook up fee or Nazilink. This is not a change that is for MY benefit, it is entirely for their convenience.

Old house renovations are interminable. This week we are ripping up the last of 100 years of floor covering to expose the softwood plank subfloor. There is masonite, 2 layers of linoleum, chip board and 2 layers of tile. Plus lots and lots of nails. #houserenovation #oldhouse #novascotialiving

This evening I had an injured Barred Owl in my yard. Its left wing seemed to be damaged. It eventually hopped into my woodshed. If it is still here in the morning I might try to call Hope for Wildlife. Sorry about the shaky video.
