Beat 2 missions in 358/2 days. Basically did nothing and am still in the tutorial This feels like playing KH2 after experiencing severe brain trauma. Lots of the assets and music I remember, bumped down a resolution or three. Very interested in the story but I hate how it feels to play lol.

Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix An easy (still fun) campaign mixed with the a satanic postgame. It introduces ideas of identity and nostalgia but strikes out on some of the resolutions. Simpler levels vs 1, but an audiovisual delight. KH2 isn’t perfect but it’s the best game I played this year.

I still have the Hades Paradox Cups + final story cutscene left but I’m basically done with all the major content in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix.

Fighting Marluxia in Kingdom Hearts 2 feels like fighting your groomer.

Kingdom Hearts re: Chain of Memories + Reverse/Rebirth Chain of Memories is weird, often tedious and horribly balanced. I also really loved the story and the card gameplay clicked with me in places. I will never replay this game but I’m so glad I got to play it.
