Bridget sleeps on my desk, which is adorable…until she does a biiiig stretch and nearly pushes my laptop onto the floor. (This just happened, I fortunately caught it in time.)
Well. Last night I learned two things. 1. An armadillo comes to my yard sometimes. 2. Armadillos will excrete *highly* odorous oil from their anal gland when they feel threatened. Ask me how I know.
My neighbors on all sides have been setting off fireworks for the past three hours. Fortunately, we administered Zesty Paws Calming Treats at exactly the right time, so Big Baby is totally chill.

This heron shows up in my neighborhood whenever we have a lot of rain. No idea where he goes in between those days. I like to think he has a little condo somewhere in a cul de sac.
They do this all the time. The big one uses the tiny one as a pillow.
I developed a theory about this after I watched the docuseries about her Eras tour: She doesn't need them. She's intelligent, driven, business savvy, self-assured, & has an excellent support system. There is absolutely nothing she needs a man for. And certain kinds of men can't handle that.

Della update! She’s been on prescription-strength allergy meds since e Monday evening and it’s made a HUGE difference. Her skin isn’t red anymore, the welts are just about gone, and she’s much happier. Poor boo.
