What collateral damage? Look at the stats from Canada. Average age. Condition prompting the request for MAiD. Do you see any conditions for which there are good treatments available as those diseases progress?
Canadian here. Most of the stories you hear about Canada’s program are untrue or misrepresented. The data clearly show that the vast majority of people choosing assisted death in Canada have a terminal illness and are older. And they overwhelmingly had access to palliative care.
