This succulent dish garden has matured nicely. The galvanized aluminum container was a thrift shop find and is meant to be a vertical wall hanging with a small wood shelf. I repurposed the shelf as a divider, adding more soil to the side with the trailing plants to raise them a little. #gardening
I turn on the light in a darkened bedroom at 8:40pm and capture the crossed paws 🐾

Desert Rose mother plant, had since 2011. Big enough now I hang orchids on it. It gave a single seed pod in 2020. From it I grew the 2, now 4 year old sibling plants. Out of 6 seedlings, these made it (thus far - 3 serious hurricanes & an oleander caterpillar infestation) Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!
Soup (Italian Wedding) & Salad (shrimp) for dinner. Soup homemade from a local convenience store, Asian salad kit from Walmart jazzed up with tomato, green onion & few shrimp
I’ve got this guy/gal coming on notification. Placed some cat kibble on the back door to the mailbox, knock 3x on top, and the crow usually shows up a snack!
Took 8 weeks to root the plant out of the garden pot outside to do this. 3 weeks in the dish…😍
Costco pizza shell, ricotta & shaved parm with this “white pizza sauce” stuff I found at the discount market (mostly olive oil & basil), my sautéed mushrooms, fresh garlic, basil & halved cherry tomatoes. Thumbs up 👍🏻 on this!

Trash night. Threw together casserole with leftover pasta, (shelled) & cooked last night, BOGO Publix mussels, end of prepared octopus (pulpo) salad, garlic, spinach, grape tomatoes, shaved parm, seasoned garlic/herb butter (very little) & crushed townhouse crackers (had no Ritz).
