I coined the term "The Godfather of Tiki" in my first book. I didn't call Donn the "Father of Tiki." Others brought the Tiki into the iconography, but those people owed their existence to Donn, especially Steve Crane, who many credit for the first use of the Tiki in graphics.

It’s sad that classic car culture is now de facto MAGA. Go to a cruise-in or car show or local club and you will see MAGA on parade. They are turning off the next generations. These cars will become worthless in a couple of decades as the Boomers and Gen X MAGAs die out. Young people are shunned.
