Going through pics and realizing my very normal in-laws took us on a terrific weirdos’ tour of Golden including Buffalo Bill’s grave, the mountaintop ruins of a KKK dance hall, the spot where the town used to push old cars off a cliff, and the Big Shovel.

The snub-nosed carrot or “shopkeeper’s special” is easily concealed and smoothly drawn from the pocket for discreet carrying. Even easier to conceal than the already-diminutive Danvers half though the accuracy does suffer. This carrot depends on close quarters and the element of surprise.

This hotel is a little iffy in some respects but it does have a sick grill setup. Scoring major points with my in-laws by grilling while on the road in April.

I don’t think anything is broken cause it only hurts at all if I poke it and it only makes the same noises as before. Hidden for gross ankle bruises but it’s not mangled or bloody or anything.

The outside of my ankle and lower calf. Swelling’s not too bad.Some lighter bruising around a small, darker spot above the ankle. A spot of reddish bruise right above the ankle bump. A real gross dark blue area along the outer edge of the foot between heel and arch. Almost as dark as the Celtic knot tattoo across the top of the foot: John Paul Jones’ symbol from Led Zepplin 4

The Best Girl Scout Cookie argument usually comes down to Thin Mints vs. Samoas. Incorrect it’s Lemon-Ups cuz they stack the best. Every cookie type has a different box shape. Look at this weak sauce from Tagalongs. You expect me to bulk-handle this janky, tip-overable bullshit?

🏃First good long run in a few months.🏃 11 miles rambling around town. Found a new-to-me unsecured demolition site to explore.

Me in some of what my wife calls my suspiciously nondescript running clothes: brown quarter zip pullover, gray headband, sunglasses, neck gaiter pulled over face.
Behind me is a towering heap of red steel beams and a beautiful blue gradient sky.

Peering into some 55 gallon drums which probably don’t contain human remains but it never hurts to check.
