Today’s toy of the day is Hoggle from the film Labyrinth, by NECA (2008). Released in a 2 pack with Jareth the Goblin King (mine broke). Despite being old enough to vote, the figure holds up incredibly well, with some great details I never noticed in the film, like the face on the back of his vest.

Today’s toy of the day is Mattel’s Masters of the Universe New Eternia Masterverse Ninjor from 2025 (I think). There’s a bajillion He-man lines and sublines and it’s hard to keep track. Ninjor’s a ninja. He has a few alternate faces, one a Hannya style mask & the other a less fortunate looking one.
Today’s toy of the day is the Super7 Creature from the Black Lagoon Super Cycle. This was a 2024 San Diego ComicCon exclusive. Also pictured: the regular release orange version. There was also an alternate green coloration I never got. Inspired by vintage windup toys. It makes ringly jingly noises.
Today’s toy of the day is this Dreamworks 1991 Ultraman. Believe it or not there was a brief effort to make Ultraman happen stateside in the early 90s. I had this as a kid but that one’s long gone; this is one I found to replace it. Comes with Jack Shindo figure (also released in a red jumpsuit).
Today’s toy of the day is Rowlf in his “Steppin’ Out” attire from Palisades Muppets Series 3 (2003). Has fun features like articulated ears and an opening piano with detailed interior. They made a white tux ToyFair variant sans piano. Naked Rowlf would later be included with the backstage playset.
Today’s toy of the day is NECA’s Shape of Water figure from 2019. I got him because he is ostensibly a Creature from the Black Lagoon figure. Some nice details on this guy especially for a toy that was never reissued or reused for parts. I thought I lost him for a while but found him in the garage.

This is my favorite she-hulk drawing because in context it’s a bunch of talking heads discussing the x-men being put on trial but one is just a green lady whose insight as an attorney they are very interested in
