I've had this fairly large gradient (from almost white over aqua and teal to dark blue) 100% merino wool yarn cake lying around since January and had no idea what to do with it. Last night I decided I'll turn (parts of) it into a chevron blouse.

The beginnings of a top-down chevron crochet blouse, worked in a gradient (aqua to turquoise) yarn.

Just found this oooold picture of my Algerian granddad and Luxembourgish grandma - paternal grandparents. This must have been in the 1950s. People always tell me my granny and I looked alike, especially on pictures where she was younger. +

Got these two cuties as a pick-me-up the day the docs' appointment got cancelled last minute. They were under 1€ each, and they're both the same shape. They bring me joy. But also: pastel Wangxian, hehe 🩵🩷

I think I found a piece of paradise today. This place made me pick up a pen and draw. After two years! Even if it was just a mediocre sketch. Extremely friendly servers, perfect atmosphere, and wonderful tea. And you can bu all tge flowers too! I'll be back for sure! @ Holy Ghost Café Luxembourg

Clothing stuff! The crochet jumper is one tgat I finished recently and was adapted from a shawl pattern, funnily enough. The peplum waistcoat needs a steam and I needed to reposition the buttns a bit, but it's one step closer to Hobbit-yfying my wardrobe!

Daybed update: The first 3 pics are from the old daybed. You can see where the bed itself and the slats broke, and how we (poorly) tried to fix it until we could afford a new one. The last pic is the new daybed with new underbed storage. With cushions it's a couch, remove them and it's a twin bed.

For those who were curious about my 🍒print knock-off Stanley, here it is! Isn't it cute?

I was infuriated by the fact that my colouring books weren't laying flat (which I'm sure is user error on my part, I've seen people lay those flat). So I cut them up and turned them into discbound books.

So this is my birthday gift for myself. It's a crow, sitting on a heart of glass. It has a special kind of meaning to me. They were selling them with a specific colour for each month - June would have been a pale lavender, but I chose the one that spoke the most to me.
