The "not a bookstore cat" kitten, nursing on my finger and seeing himself for the first time. We've had him around since he was way too little as he was abandoned. He may or may not have use of the squinty eye. Time will tell.
Finally hanging the window display swag I've been working on for longer than I liked.
Now we have a very pretty 5 ft snek under the deck that I'm sure the dogs won't care about anymore than the sole remaining bunny. I fear there is another predator for that bun now though. Also copperheads are out of the black snakes are out.
Out 3/3/26- super quick read on the powers that be throughout the world, over the last several centuries. Helps to put current conquests in perspective and get a bit of insight into what might be coming.
Digging through packages and noticed something from @haymarketbooks.org for me! It's the advanced reader of @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social upcoming book The Beginning Comes After the End. Can't wait to start this one!
Listened to The Hour of the Predator by Giuliano da Empoli in one sitting. His level of access gives you a quick look into the tech bros and autocrats really running the show and it is maddening. Highly recommend. You can grab it from @libro.fm and support your local indie bookstore.

Back in Marie Reverie's chair to finish the robin detail and add flowers for my brother who passed last month and for my brother sitting on death row. Planning out the layout for my other 2 brothers' flowers to be added in the future.
The second time we've had a flying squirrel hang out in our bookstore. They must be native to North Hills. This sweet baby spent the day with us.
