Oregon is beautiful, but as you go north, the mountains get more and more impressive. Take a hike in the North Cascades. Here’s one shot from just south of Stevens Pass:
In my new back yard on Orcas Island, the deck is about 20 degrees warmer than the actual temp. We had a breeding pair of mule deer come visit. Here’s the buck.
Apparently, the only thing better than an empty box is a stack of boxes.
This is Bella the troublemaker. She’s almost 11 but don’t tell her that.
In my experience, cats don’t “get up to trouble”, but “when they’re up, it’s trouble”. Especially my older cat, Bella.
Every cat is unique — and they’re all alike. Bella and Zoe. Happy early caturday.
Brown. She’s on the left. The other one is mostly Maine Coon in behavior, but looks like she’s made out of spare parts. Here, they’re doing their usual arguing over something.
My two cats are both sweet, but they eat like they’re dogs (that’s a comparison, not a criticism—of dogs). TBH, the older one on the left has a rather bad attitude. Always has. And she’s kind of a bully. And apparently she’s always been the source of shenanigans over the years.
Yeah, that’s a good one. My favorite is Waptus, but there’s also these two: Glacier and Surprise Lakes south of Steven’s Pass.
