My bookstore newsletter this week had crossover with the sports world, as this week we hosted Jayson Tatum for the 2nd time (still pinching myself) and quotes from the event made national news, thanks to media who attended the event. Most notably, @noadalzell.bsky.social. mailchi.mp/silverunicor...
This local media rights thing at the end of Windy's piece today sounds super ominous. It sounds to me like Amazon will buy up all local TV rights, and you'll only be able to watch NBA games on Amazon, which will be absolutely devastating in a number of different ways. I hope I'm wrong.
Hey, look at that! FWIW I think the last team was much better, but the victory is finally vanquishing the algorithm.
I haven't been to this website in at least two weeks. This is a great way to tell me you have no idea how to run your business though.
It's also worth noting that this country has devolved so deeply into parody that it's no longer even surprising, but, this is the exact scenario we could have Sunday night. Who would be the funniest player to potentially try to assassinate Trump? And why is it 1000000% Luke Kornet?
Me seeing the "60 Minutes" thing and choosing to do literally anything else with my life.
Opening up boxes of new releases and looked at this book too quick and thought it said "Grifting" and that someone had written a book about SGA's strategy on offense.
This is such a colossal fumbling of the bag by the Knicks that if I didn't know any better, I'd be starting to wonder if they were throwing the game on purpose.
The arrogance and elitism of this lede is just astounding. Good to know that I'm a lower life form if I wear flip flops to a movie theater.
Shot charts for Brown, Tatum, and White in the 4th quarter. Not going to win a single game with your three-highest paid players shooting like that. The fourth-highest paid player, Vooch, didn't take a shot in the 4th. Total collapse.
Wrote this Friday night. Seems pretty, pretty relevant after Sengun's 6-for-19 stinker in Game 1. green-tint.ghost.io/key-round-on...
Quote post with something good that lasted longer than the Confederacy (1861-1865) .500+ seasons for Jaylen Brown teams (2011-present)
