Happy #caturday bluesky friends! 2 weeks post-move, all 3 mogs have settled nicely & so have we. Craft space, music space, artist's studio, garden, pretty little kitchen diner & 'hotel' bedroom (got an en-suite!). Every day I empty at least 1 box. My creativity dial is at 11. #craft #yarn #writing

Pocket adventure around #NewHome Walked a path to see where it went, found the bus stop is only 10 mins' walk away. Lovely independent Garden Centre, Batman on a gable, a hedgehogs' theatre, a lesson in thorn, & sundry other small delights. The small things ARE the big things. #walking #exploring

Happy #Caturday I've just moved house; all is boxes. The cats aren't thrilled with the disruption but they're doing OK Here's my boy Ambi, pre-move, claiming the horizontal surface on top of some stuff, as is his right Moving in the heatwave was unavoidable but all yesterday's heat is now inside😶

Did a bit of a ninja drive to Uffington yesterday, before I leave the area. The light & the air were so gold-filled! A magpie kept me company, & the beech trees were splendid-stately above me. (Click through for full image) #Wiltshire #landscape

I'll take seeds of my dear wild, chaotic poppies with me. Elsewhere, love-in-the-mist is almost ready to open its baroque, tentacled seedpods so I can harvest them too. I've plans also for the closed pods - oh, & be assured there are plenty left to populate next year's garden, for others to enjoy!

I am packing up my home of 20 years to prepare to move into something rented, somewhere. As my home becomes plainer I seem to be driven to decorate mself more.

Inside a car, the wrist of a hand on the steering wheel is bright with coloured bracelets & bangles, many are coloured glass, others are metal, braid, or enamel.

SUCH a satisfying mend! This linen traycloth had got scorched, & had languished unmended for months. I patched, then buttonholed, and finally embroidered. It's not invisible, and I like that. #VisibleMending #repair

Crash, went the china cabinet. Broken glass like woah. Thankfully no paws or feet were hurt. Last out of the wreckage was the series of Comical Faces in Bits of Old Fence Panel. Yes, alright, I'm a bit weird. Here's my favourite:
