We had our Undergraduate Research Symposium last week. It was pretty amazing. I was a judge for oral presentation division. Students give me so much hope for the future. They brought me back to academia in 2004. The symposium was just food for my soul.

My daughter asked me if I knew of Occidental College. She was convinced something online was a hoax. It's not. Oxy is the branding? Jfc. Odd? Brilliant? Terrifying? U tell me. Watching a couple people battling oxy addictions makes this a hard pill to swallow.

According to ai, when it generated my business photo... My forehead is too big, my jawline is way too weak, my cheeks are too gaunt, my hair is too long, my shoulders are too narrow, and I'm about 10 years too young. Good thing my lips, nose, and hooded eyes are in the ballpark. Basics down.
