Graphite pencil study of the character 'Sister Ruth' from the 1947 film Black Narcissus. A woman in a nun's outfit looks beyond the viewer with a haunted look in her eyes, she has a very slight smile on her face.

A watercolour painting I did of a path winding off into the distance. The light is that of a hazy winter afternoon. Either sides of the path on the horizon are what looks like hills that form a valley, the sky colour on the right is a warm yellow sky as the sun dips behind the hill. The light is hazy, and suggests the time of day is in the afternoon, the sky colour on the left still has hints of blue. This is watercolour, then touched up with acrylic.
