"Princess ■■■■■■■." Inrin slowly looked up, staring up at ghosts—phantoms from a land lost long ago. She let out a shuddering breath, sitting up to see a kingdom of ruin in eerie silence. Billowing fog, tall grass, vine and ivy, and hollow buildings that whistled quietly with the wind...
When at work, she prefers long and loose skirts rather than pants, finding it easier to move that way. Powers: An owl mask made of real feathers, handpainted, and crafted with wood hangs from her hip and she uses that to tap into an ability she isn't proud of—turning into a creature of horrors.
...honestly, the thing that has been protecting her has also been giving her unease.
Brown skin, a fierce look in her eyes, and a large cleaver-like sword in hand. She wore an interesting getup, different from her intimidating appearance—a hazmat suit that didn't seem to serve a purpose anymore from all the tear and the fact that she had pulled off the hood and mask down now.
And a certain odor permeated the air, making Inrin's skin crawl. Looking up, through the fog, something large watched them with its tiny eyes and loomed over the two... One is recognizably a threat. The other...spouted delicious fear that spurred the Snake Devil on.
A big, fluffy, dog. A shiba inu. No, it's too big so an akita? Inrin actually stumbled back in surprise, landing on the floor and staring as the dog circled Makimoto and sniffed him excitedly before rushing at Inrin to do the same. "...is it really a dog?" She asked as she got up, still shaken.
And she stopped by her apartment door, opening it and welcoming them inside. "As you know, I'm not from this world but it's here where I actually found home." It was a standard living space, tiny but it would be enough for one person or two if comfortable enough. "Make yourself at home here too."
She's staring at her owl mask, quietly picking at it—it's made of leather, wood, bone, fur, feathers, painted beautifully but the colors had long since faded. Part of her feels so attached to such a thing but another side makes her want to simply put it somewhere, never to be picked up again.
Inrin's hair tie broke during all this and her long hair framed her body and face, reaching her hips, almost as if she's using it to hide the damage. "...thank you, sir." She sighed, starting to pinch, rub, and pull away glass from her flesh with shaky hands, "I'll write a report soon."
It was approximately ten feet in height, eight feet in size, shaped almost like a starfish that Inrin vaguely remembers seeing. But instead of spines, it had glass shards across its body and a human mouth on its underbelly, snarling and cussing her out.
Where her hands were, it was replaced with crystallized red sharpened like a blade and her feet nearly resembled human except for the talons that replaced her nails. There were no signs of the sweet Inrin and what lurked under those doe eyes and soft smile finally revealed itself.
—or that mindless and panick-stricken monster that would rip people to shreds— She can be both but it's too early to tell if she'll last in these mind games. However, that soft smile and those doe eyes never left her, even with the beast writhing inside. "You have called for me, sir?"
[TW: Blood and gore] "Confused." Inrin admitted, looking around, "I thought I was in a different world." She covered her mouth and closed her eyes, taking a long inhale through her nose as her own hands crawled to cover the upper half of her face.
@chimericswordsman.bsky.social She'd cross the multiverse for him and love him in each reality.
Inrin ran. She just...kept running. To where? She didn't know, she just knew she had to get away... Away from the cops, I mean. Why? Well, maybe one can ask why on their own—
Inrin walked right in, smiling and thanking the waitress as she got seated with Denji, "You look like you're dying, boss, did you wait too long?" She asked, smiling and sitting across him before looking around, "Are the others not here yet?"
"Lobsters are quite delicious." ⌛️ I prefer crabs and shrimps tho... Never touched a lobster-
