Posting the opening pages of my most distinctive script, my adult animated show Cap & Soci. The logline for the show: In a world where economic ideologies are people, Capitalism and Socialism are in bed together, literally and at the office — and it costs the workforce its identity and limbs.

For fun, I’ll share the opening 4 pages of By the Bootstraps for anyone interested. The logline is: A perpetually overlooked retail employee climbs a corporate ladder he’ll never actually reach— at a boot company whose executives divine corporate strategy through its cryogenically frozen founder.

Correction on my previous post: The manager who gave my pitch a glowing review still works at CAA. So there’s some potential serious upside. My nerves are a little crazy while I wait for the script to get reviewed, but I’m feeling hopeful. I don’t believe I’m out of bounds for sharing the review.
