Saturday afternoon I had my first AoS Path to Glory game in the Ravaged Coast (FINALLY!!!). My 980 pts of Ironjawz faced my friend’s Disciples of Tzeentch force and… we won without losing a unit. My MVP was my Anvil of Apotheosis hero, a Priest on Maw-Grunta(ish). #warhammercommunity #nerdlings

Emberstone and flames are now lit with various shades of orange and the turf has been given some muddy patches. Green wash to a few wood and stone features too. Next I glue on the models and then do the detail paint work (or flat out finish a few). #warhammercommunity #nerdlings

Forgot to mention the Vallejo Black Lava texture paint! This stuff dries like mossy earth (and makes your hands look like graphite).

It was years ago, but in Pathfinder 1E my players were defending a cabin in a small, isolated forest village under attack from creatures called “the Hive”. Eventually they had to go underground and deal with the Queen. My Nids came in handy for these games.

So I went out today before my group’s #PathfinderRPG game to pick up the new T’au for my friend’s birthday gift and a Tyranid Prime for myself. Another friend let me know of a sale nearby and ended up walking out with a Carnifex Brood. A good day indeed! #warhammercommunity #nerdlings
