Dad, gamer, movie lover. I have opinions. I watch Cincinnati sports with a gun to my head. Level 40. Cishet, he/him. Doing my best here.
The more Pete Hegseth talks about muscular men and high-T, the more I'm convinced he played Muscle March too much back in 2010.
Game #13 Completed in 2026: It Takes Two Delightful! Must play with your spouse. Fun co-op with blend of action, platforming, and puzzles. Mini games are hit or miss, ends abruptly and could have used a grand finale level to send it to the credits. 9/10
Wish I saw this in the theaters. The story and execution are almost entirely just like The Martian (that other Andy Weir story turned highly successful movie) but it works well enough to be its own separate piece. Rocky must be protected at all costs. 9/10
It’s been decades since I’ve played Illusion of Gaia but holy shit lmao
Game #12 Compelted in 2026: Deltarune Ch 5 Really loved the change of pace in gameplay, and the writing even better than it's ever been. Secret boss was a wild ride. Music and art were fantastic. Definitely look up the weird route if you don't mind spoilers, because it sure is weird! 8.5/10
I cannot stress enough how badly we have failed young men in our country. Their brains have been fried with get rich quick schemes and manosphere culture.
ngl I thought it was a real user until i saw the teeny tiny robot emoji which doesn't look clear on desktop lol
Game #11 Completed in 2026: Mina The Hollower @yachtclubgames.bsky.social made another fantastic game. Souls-like combat if it were made in the Game Boy Color era, so much charm. Tight controls, tons of customization, wide-scale puzzles and challenges. Frustrating boss fights, in a good way. 9/10
new challenge: make a 0-17 team it's probably really easy to make a 1-16 team just by lucking out on shit defense and 4th stringers but it's probably insanely difficult to make an nfl team that goes winless
You made me want to check, and it's kind of all over the place! Seems like there's a high correlation for bubble teams to have difficult pre-season Strength of Schedule, as well as the bottom feeders. About the only team that took advantage of having an "easy" schedule last season were the 49ers.
Game #10 Completed in 2026: Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Oozing in cuteness and style, but lacking in challenge or coherent gameplay. Leans a lot into puzzles that are more of a "throw spaghetti at a wall and see what sticks" method. Co-op is sorely missing. Fun but overall underwhelming. 6.5/10
