last night we ended the night with a rewatch of US! such a good fucking movie man. jordan peele really understands filmmaking. and it's nice to see him prop black actors up so much they really deserve to shine. lupita is an angel and we need more of her in these intense dramatic roles. 4/5 stars! ⭐️

next up! the original when a stranger calls!!! this one was good and intense! carol kane is a gem but i will say this one upon revisiting today is very differet than i remember. turns into a cop thriller like a quarter way in 🤣🙈 but id say 4/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

so the first one is ZOLA! this is a fun one but kinda dark subject matter. taylour paige is an absolute smoke show and maybe they should have casted someone other than riley keough lol but it worked! cousin greg from succession is in this and hes insufferable but it works!
