Today marks one year since I had to say goodbye to this little guy. It hardly seems possible that much time has passed. But I still have that Galaxy sized hole in my heart that’s never going away. I miss my little buddy! 💔

Yes! That first collab sucked ass imo. There were like three shades of blue and two red. Granted, MLB uniforms are mostly blue and red, but I was annoyed.

We aren’t doing traditional Thanksgiving again this year. My mom is cooking steak and baked potatoes and King’s Hawaiian rolls. Here’s what I’m making for the meal. Yes, I design a menu for meals like this, even when they aren’t traditional. I am extra, I know.
Went and saw featured artist, @nicholasivins.bsky.social, at Art in the Park today. He’s from San Diego and his art is really cool. Bought a t-shirt from the event with this dog, Oakley, on it (minus all the show and advertising info). It was pretty cool but my leg is sooooo sore now.

I’m preparing to bake the two cakes I agreed to make for our family party tomorrow. My mom got out the roll of parchment paper like my ass was gonna trace and cut it out for my pans. Ummm no. Someone did that for me already.

I chose this owl fabric for the outside of my bag, and the green geometric print fabric for the inside of the bag. I didn’t finish the bag but the last steps are the easiest and I can finish it up in the next couple weeks at the library.
I should get up and bake the blueberry muffins I’ve been wanting to bake for a week now. But the desire to bake – or do anything for that matter – fizzled about 8:07AM and I’ve not been able to rekindle it. This is what the muffins looked like last time I made them. They were so good.
Well, it came sooner than I wanted, but we set Galaxy free Friday. He was struggling and seemed to be in pain so it was time to say goodbye. My only regret is my son, who brought Galaxy into our family, wasn’t there to see him go. But he knew he was loved.
