Reading the tale of the heike as an aspirational text

Opening text of the tale of the heike featuring the famous “the proud do not endure, they are like a dream on a spring night, the mighty fall at last, they are as dust before the wind” passage. It details other rulers who prospered but were brought low by neglecting the distress of the people and by not heeding the signs of approaching disaster and begins the story of the rise of Taira no Ason Kiyomori.

RG Gundam Astraea assembled. Going to fix up the panel lining and finish its frankly silly amount of accessories but a fun build that, due to its design is both much sharper and escapes some of the rg exia’s floppier parts. I also just love the visor face a lot.
