So I literally JUST got a sticker cutting machine today, was unrelated but decided to put it to use for this cause. I have a few things I'm going to turn into stickers but would love love love to have more to add in from the community! A few friends are already on it c: I'll be handling all the printing, sticker making and mailing. Low pressure and stakes for anyone interested to contribute a lit something. The subject can be directly related to the cause, a message, a symbol -or- it can be completely unrelated, a blip of joy, reminder... resistance comes in all shapes and sizes. It doesn't have to be a new art, it can be something you already have. Oh, and I'll be including a lil credit sheet with all the artists too. Just want a lil something to give to people who donate. I have a drawing of me crushing a Nice Cube that will be one of mine.

did a lil handle switcheroo (ew why did i say it like that) to better match new focus of online presence. you’ll mostly see full ass human me being me: arts, brain stuffs, journaling, growths, natures, bookmaking, snacks, vulnerability, laughs, screams, whatever. new directory in about section.

what i learned this month is… i freaking love drawing??? haven’t touched drawing in like a decade or more; not seriously at least. here’s one from road trip last week of me dry shaving a spot on my kneecap that i missed earlier that morning.

AHHHHHHH! so excited. Today is my first official appointment for lasering the hair off my face!! The consult went really well last week. For best results, they said to grow it out a week or two before… so here I am being super duper brave!

So… I mentioned learning bookbinding the other day…. here’s a practice book I made out of scrap papers!

Welcome to our monthly community creative prompt! Literally anyone can join, does not matter your experience. The idea of this is to spark some creativity, stretch your imagination a bit, think of things you may have not thought of before, go out of your comfort zone a lil, and just... yeah, make art! It's also meant to intentionally be no-stress... meaning, let some feelings out in reaction to the prompt, no spending hours and hours and hours trying to make something perfect. It can literally be a scribble or a one line poem.

Forms of Expression
You can use any medium that you can possibly think of: drawing, OCs, environments, painting, writing, world building, music, dance, photography, singing, journaling, poetry, fiber arts, collage, video, build something in a game, character creation, coloring books, a puzzle, baking, woodworking, mapmaking, short story, sculpture, performance art... and the list goes on!
How much time will it take?
Anywhere between 30 seconds and 3 hours... the idea is that this is a quick thing, spending no more than a few hours per month. Get some feelings out and move on... not meant to be masterpieces, but if you conjure one perchance, go off i guess haha.
Interpreting the prompt
there is no right or wrong way to respond to the prompt! Whether you interpret it literally, use a metaphor, let your imagination run wild, or be mundane... however feels right to you!
