This is too literal, but hedgehogs get around primarily by smell even though irl they have enhanced night vision. So yeah Sonic can see in the dark with or without his speed.

Most nocturnal mammals have a layer of reflective cells behind the retina called a tapetum lucidium, from the Latin meaning 'bright tapestry'. These cells reflect light back into the eye, rather than letting it pass through the retina and be lost -- the result is that low-light vision is significantly enhanced. It's the eyeshine that we see when we catch deer, foxes, cats and so forth in the beam of a torch or car headlights. In an anonymous paper to The Edinburgh New Philosophical Journal in 1829, the author wrote:

"The tapetum occurs in carnivora, ruminantia, pachydermata, cetacea, owls, crocodiles, snakes, rays and sharks: it is wanting in man, apes, glires, chiroptera, hedgehog and moles; in birds, with exception of owls; and in osseous fishes."

The name placement bothers me. Is the frame being broken here?? By hiding the B in the pale background and the rest of her name not lining up with the article title? Move the B in the black coat AT LEAST so it doesn’t look like “ILLIE.” Billie Eilish? More like Billie … out of line-ish. 🤓

Holy Days is a heartfelt movie about accepting the things you cannot change (death), moving through that grief (with support from family) to then fight for the things you can change (stopping greedy capitalists). Elijah Tamati is a child actor who can actually act and carries the movie. 4.7/5
