NorCal cat helping the environment, loudly talking about climate, following experts so I know what is going on. What is going on?
My neighbors' cat, Toby, has been sleeping in my side yard in the dirt, on or near my bike stand and spring-desiccated Naked Ladies, for going on 9 hours now. I think he'll be there until it gets dark, if not not later. #OrangeCat Must've had a long night!

The weather station closest to me is now showing 22mph winds with gusts up to 38mph. #windy
I enjoyed a slice with a lemon glaze! Several GIANT slices are going to my neighbor whose bday is Monday. (gotta get the yummy cake out of the house!)

Showed the 3yr old neighbor how to carve a Jack-O-Lantern this evening, even though she was totally disgusted by the sliminess of pumpkin guts, lol. Did not want to do any additional carving to get rid of the sharpie lines and declared it DONE! (as long as she's happy, ok then!)

Wild turkeys roost in trees. When doing so at sunset, they often fly *straight up* from the ground (as a helicopter can), hauling their 20lb selves up and onto the branches. Trippy to see!
All the inflatable frog costumes are sold out after 800+ purchases on amazon this past month...
I love that our Vector Control District Manager and Research Director is such a bug nerd. I'll get to test this in just a few minutes as we're having swarms this week!
On the first day that feels like fall (rainy and cool, yay!) I wanted comfort food. I present my first tot-topped casserole/hot dish. Totally hit the spot!
