I found some odds & ends beads and I made a simple necklace with a blue/gold glass flower bead & a Citrine bead. One of my residents loves plants and flowers. She gifted me some Oxalis corms & she has some cuttings for me tomorrow. I'll gift her this in return..! 🌼💛✌🏼

I haven't bought a gemstone in a very long time, but today I found this Prehnite w/ Epidote today from a local shop I haven't stopped in, in almost a year. I needed some uplift & sign from Deity and this was one of it. 💚

Mission Rosaries are usually made of seed shaped beads, but when I have a coupon from Michaels I buy a bag of plastic beads to change up the Gloria/Fatima/Pater beads. Loving these iridescent plastic faceted square beads!

I finally found a non-Latin/Asian chicken seasoning that actually gives the chicken color, but doesn't pigeonhole you into a specific flavor profile. 'Olde Canadian Chicken Rub', I got it from a local market and it actually smells, looks and tastes amazing!

This is the big book, but we also keep the smaller version. I checked that priests, deacons and lay people can use these blessings as well.

I read a quick recipe for a 'Refreshing Spray',which is a type of Clearing spray. I have most of the ingredients,but I had to sub in a few because I didn't have that specific eo. It smells amazing even w/ the substitutions. I added Witch Hazel so it doesn't spoil & Holy Water b/c you never know.

I dress a candle every two weeks for my prayers. They're dressed for daily blessings from either the Archangels, the Santos, the Blessed Mother or Jesus Christ. This week I got Sacred Heart of Jesus with me ❤️‍🔥🌞🌈✌🏼 #eclecticwitch #folkcatholic #earthmagic #folkmagic

I have a devotional statue of San Judas Tadeo already, but I like smaller ones. I found this small metal one, and a pocket coin of Saint Jude Tadeo to keep with me daily. Thank you San Judas de Tadeo for pulling through for me! 💚

I've been on a search for a Four Way Crucifix, which is a Cross that is compromised of different medals. This was probably pulled from the back stock as it was the only piece at the gift shop.I cleaned it up & had my husband knot me a corded necklace for it. I'll have my parish priest bless it.

At the shrine today, we also lit candles in prayer and visited 'Mahal na Ina', or Blessed Mother. Whenever I go I always pray and speak to her in Tagalog. I feel like she understands me more that way. Mahal na Ina Ipanalangin mo po kami! 💙👑

We're visiting a local Catholic shrine tomorrow & they have a Saint Jude Thaddeus statue in their Hall of Saints so I knotted this simple decade Rosary as an offering for answered prayers. I'll pray and hang it on his statue tomorrow in thanksgiving. San Judas de Tadeo ipanalangin mo po kami 💚

While it may look like my practice has turned very Catholic, the magic is still there. I prayed the Rosary while tending to the garden today, and made a Pothos cutting in the hopes that it roots in conjunction with a working. As this plant grows so shall we ~ 💚

My brother stopped by after 2.5yrs of not seeing each other. He also came back from vacation from the Philippines and both my sis-in-laws gifted me with a couple of Santos. The Holy Family and St. Joseph. Both to help us find a new place. 1/

We're packing up the apartment, but I'm still keeping some easy hand crafts like my Rosary knotting tool. While all the beads are packed away, I can still make knotted corded Rosaries. This decade Rosary is dedicated to Saint Jude Thaddeus. Patron Saint of lost causes pray for us! 💚

Filipino Chicken Adobo! First try! I'm just going with how my dad did it. Basic recipe that can be easily adjusted to taste! I tweaked it a bit, but it tastes & smells like home.

Before picking up my dad's ashes, I took my mom to a local St. Padre Pio shrine so we could light some candles & pray for him. It was just my mom and I, & we prayed for my dad & our family. I also touched my Rosary to his relic turning it into a third class relic of Padre Pio. Rest easy dad 💛
