This dog likes to retreat into the guest bedroom and lay on the bed in the dark when there is a fly in the house.
Photo dump of the float during the actual parade and with all our group participants from our church. We did not win an award (a local craft brewery had a full-on pirate ship with a live band on it), but had fun. More importantly, hopefully showed there are still affirming communities of faith.
We'll still need to connect the arches and fluff the tissue flowers once we transport and enter the parade queue, but here's roughly the finished product:
Unfinished--sone additional materials, actually attaching the arches and fluffing the flowers, addition of some pool-noodles-turned-moss-covered-roots, and then we'll be ready for Sunday's Pridefest parade.
