EDINBURG, TX — Tejano music star and TX-15 congressional candidate Bobby Pulido outraised incumbent Monica De La Cruz in Q2, raising $1.43 million to her $1.03 million. It is the biggest Q2 fundraising quarter ever recorded in TX-15 history and the biggest single fundraising quarter ever recorded by a first-time candidate in the district. Pulido has now surpassed $3 million for the cycle.

In Q2, the campaign received nearly 16,000 individual donations, with over 90% of contributions coming in under $100. The campaign's historic fundraising quarter and broad grassroots support cements TX-15 as the top congressional flip opportunity in Texas and one of the most competitive House races in the country.

AUSTIN, TX — Today, State Representative James Talarico announced his campaign raised more than $30 million in the second quarter of 2026, the largest amount ever raised by a U.S. Senate candidate in the second quarter of an election year.

Since launching in September, Team Talarico has now raised over $70 million, receiving more than 1.5 million donations from a staggering 780,000+ individual contributors.

“I’m honored to stand alongside more than 780,000 neighbors who are tired of being divided into teams — red versus blue, left versus right, rural versus urban,” said James Talarico. “We are uniting Texans onto one team to change this broken, corrupt political system and bring down costs for working families.”

97% of contributions to the campaign were $100 or less, with support from farmers, ranchers, oil workers, nurses, firefighters, and other working Texans looking to build a new kind of politics. Since the beginning of his campaign, the most common profession among James’ contributors has been teachers.

Talarico for Texas campaign manager Seth Krasne added: “Running a truly competitive campaign in a state with nearly three times the population of any other battleground state will take unprecedented resources. While the Supreme Court creates new loopholes for billionaires and special interests to prop up their puppets, we’re going to continue building a movement to take back power for working people. Because Big Money is nothing compared to People Power.”
