The older I grow, the more I realize that patriarchy - just like every non-meritocratic system of divested power in any form - will never provably create a single genius who wouldn't have been one already. But it *will* create entire generations of far more dangerous -fools- than would have existed.
The search for one can serve as an interim stone-upon-the-pressure-plate, for a time at least, in my experience. However, odds are good you actually already have found multiple fit candidates, but which are gated behind amorphous barriers painted with "you're not ready", "you don't deserve", etc.
