Yeah, I remember them being in the mix for quite a while after the current scheme was introduced. The current scheme is technically also a tribute to the colors that Muni Streetcars had in 1912. We operate Car 1 on Heritage Days and it’s spectacular.

It’s an actual Dream Come True for me! Today I am driving a Muni Bus wearing the iconic Landor Livery, the true colors Muni is meant to display, designed by the great Walter Landor in 1975, introduced alongside the greatest logo in transit history, the Muni Worm.

Bad news. A screw in my tire necessitated using The Sketchy Donut to cross the Bay Bridge yesterday evening. Good news: this resulted in my kid sketching this picture of a cowboy riding a donut while herding eclairs. 🍩🤠
Happy 31st birthday to this scar on my head. On May 11th, I had a life saving brain surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I was 10 years old. My family has celebrated the anniversary as Brain Day ever since. 🧠

I was invited to speak at the opening, but I haven’t really spent a lot of time with the photographs yet. Planning to go next week. SFMTA is really lucky to have a staff photographer who is so dedicated to documenting preserving and maintaining our history.
