Me being literally blown away at The Temple of Poseidon in Greece a few weeks ago. He certainly whipped up a breeze that day!
The bridge at Chalkida, Greece connecting the island of Evia to the mainland. Sadly I'm coming home tomorrow
Just back from a pub in Chalkida, Greece that plays goth, alt and classic rock. Met the owner as he spotted me looking at his ticket board. I'd spotted this
Nice mate. I have friends I stay with in Chalkida, about an hours drive from Athens. It's on a large island that you get to via a small bridge. That's the mainland you see across the water in the picture
A small church on the island of Evia, Greece. The photo looks a bit like a painting
I'm addicted to a game called Aska at the moment. A viking settlement builder/survival/resource collecting game. Some great weather simulation and nothing better than sitting in your chiefs hut with a roaring fire as the wind and snow howl around you.
A refreshing walk at Aberavon Beach. So warm I took my jacket off and wandered about in a tshirt! It's been a long Winter
It's not raining! So I went for a walk at Porthcawl. Nice to get out in the dry!
It's stopped raining after a week of continuous downpours so I went for a walk at Aberavon Beach
Maybe Meta should give posters the choice to turn emojis off. Someone has left a laughing emoji on this post. The mind boggles....
I visited the site of the Fuhrerbunker. For all his evil and for all the power he wielded, this is how it ends up. The sign is on the spot of the bunker exit, his body was burned on whsts now a road, about 10 feet away
A classic song that expressed the sadness and desperation of a city split in two. Here is part of the Wall that still survives
I would like to have gone inside but tours start at 400 euros! I would expect to record a couple of tracks for that money lol. Heroes been playing in my head as I've walked around Berlin
A monument dedicated to the innocents killed in WW2. Just off Unter Den Linden, Berlin. Very striking
This is the spot where Hitler and Eva Brauns bodies were burned as the allies took over Berlin. This is how evil ends. Taken yesterday in Berlin
Visited the excellent Topography of Terror in Berlin yesterday. It's situated on the site of the former Gestapo HQ. It documents the rise of Nazi fascism in detail. There was a section on the Nazi's infatuation with flags....
