☀️Departure time always, arrival time never. 🌑 He/Him
Maybe it’s my colorblindness but it looks like it’s sliding through peanut butter.
7. Toy Story 5. I like this better than the 4th film. I feel like this was more memorable and fun. Beautifully animated with some alternate animation styles used in some scenes. I like the way it touched on technology use and the new human characters introduced were really good.
All with a largely garbage front office. If anyone has any doubt about that championship requiring a level of mental toughness never before asked of an NBA champion squad you should read the book Bubbleball.
6. Hook. Haven’t watched this in maybe a decade and I wanted to see if I still liked it. I feel like very few moments in this film are wasted. This is a weird movie in a good way and Dustin Hoffman should have won an Oscar for his portrayal of Hook. He’s so damn good in this role.
I said it already but the Switch 2 getting both of these games, announced right with all the other consoles feels really good. Resident Evil is in a really good place and Alien Isolation is one of my favorite games of all time. Never played anything like it. Absolute tension.
QRP with the doctor you’d trust leading the hantavirus response instead of RFK Jr. Real deep cut here.
When I’m doing a Resident Evil franchise replay and it’s time for RE6:
New TX2 today. I know they have haters but their music speaks to me and they are such lovable dorks. Never take themselves too seriously unless it’s standing up for the right thing.
5. Resident Evil 0. Goddamnfuck there is a good game in here somewhere. With the proper tweaks this could be brilliant. The backgrounds sure are. Easy to catch yourself idle just to take in the atmosphere. I will never play this again. Eff those leech monsters. Real pain in the ass in a bad way.
4. Resident Evil Requiem. This game mostly fucking rocked. Felt exactly like what I’d want from the franchise in present day. Parts of Leon’s campaign dragged. Grace is fantastic and her sections mostly felt like modern/classic RE. Can’t wait for DLC. A+ atmosphere. Great cast. Well acted.
3. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. So conflicted. Really well animated and they ditched the licensed music mostly. Handful of stand out scenes and a really neat cameo that wasn’t spoiled. The one cameo they did spoil was almost worth the price of admission on its own. Very fast paced. To a fault.
2. Minishoot Adventures. A fantastic top down Zelda-like but as a twin stick shooter. Clearing the map and discovering all the secrets was a blast. Abilities/upgrades kept it interesting all the way through. Post game content was a fair challenge even on highest difficulty. Highly recommend this.
1. TMNT: Tactical Takedown. More like Tactical Letdown! Opening has you learning the mechanics with one turtle and I found the combat really fun. But then it’s just that until the end. They never let you have more than one turtle in your party. You against the horde. Great idea. Poor execution
Probably shouldn’t have bought this but I did anyways. Didn’t want to miss out.
Scam texts speaking to me like I’m some cat and it’s dinner time.
