For years, whenever someone would tell me they can only draw a stick figure, I'd explain, the more I learned about art, the more I realized almost everything you see can be broken down into lines, simple shapes and forms. And they'd be suprised how often I start gestures with a "stick figure"

A bunch of basic 3D forms like cylinders, cones, spheres and rounded boxes followed by a few items around the house I broke down using these shapes. Such as realizing the kettle was mainly a couple cylinders and half a cone, and the toaster was a box rounded at the top with rectangular slats.

Was sitting out in my patio garden and watched an iridescent fly enjoying the nectar from my cilantro flowers and that's how I learned flies are pollinators too. Then I watched an ant half it's size crawl up the stem and try to ambush it from behind. Which I also just learned is a thing 🐜

Went to a Pride event with some friendos and ended up with quite a haul. My buddy treated me to the testosterone sticker. And the Satanic Temple had a booth selling pronoun pins in front of the local queer hating cult's store which is hilarious. 😂 #Pride2026

Been having a really good weekend so far. Went to a booksale earlier and snagged a book on how The Dark Crystal was made with some cool concept art from the collector's section. 😊 And yesterday I had a fun day out with my dad ✨️
