TBH I'm kind of struggling to see a huge gap between your defense of action movie Odyssey and Wilson's pan of it. She calls it dumb and shallow, but entertaining. The main thing seems to be priorities: she is less impressed than some of us are by the spectacular parts.
Went to Flagstaff with the family for vacation for a few days last week and came back to Phoenix for this:

Like I said: look at Monique's minutes compared to the rest of the team without her.
Literally everything I've tried from this place is incredible. They also sometimes do a Thai chili and a Korean BBQ sauce that are magnificent.

Tell me (aside from the "some progressives" blame) how this conclusion differs in any way from NHJ's framing essay in the 1619 Project. These arguments are all so annoying. What exactly is the proper amount of guilt? Two pumps of sorrow is acceptable but don't you dare pump a third time?
