My sister has a birthday this month. I am renting 4 baby goats to visit her group home. They need a covered area to set up, so I bought her a 10 x 15' popup canopy to use it throughout the year. I'm sorry mom had to die for us to get to know each other but glad we get to know each other.
I was reluctant to attend my dual birthday karaoke party but went. It was for a fellow birthday girl & me. I should be there. I spent a lot to make it happen. It was worth it. So many people felt so much joy & reconnection. When I owned Catalyst, we saw each other often. It was a great start for 64.
On a blisteringly hot MI day, my mom went into labor at 4:30pm, August 4. Lansing's Mercy Hospital only had A/C in the basement surgery, so off we went. At 12:25am, I entered the brave new world of 1962. This is the face of 64. I can't wait to find out what being 64 means. I am now 4 cubed.
And yet he continues that narrative, although he's moved on to targeting voters whose skin isn't pearly white or whatever the hell color Trump's skin is supposed to be. It's the stupidity, stupid! You can't say Trump isn't good at something.
Am I the only person who's noticed this administration is super obsessed w/manly man masculinity & associating it w/"lethality?" I have thoughts. If military personnel meet their service-related goals, who cares what their testosterone levels are? Also, wouldn't "beardos" have higher levels?
Nothing says "We're committing war crimes & crimes against humanity" quite like the US whining that the ICC threatens its sovereignty by expecting it to obey int'l law, not start wars based on gossip, or blow up boats w/people in them on a whim. We are the bad guys now. Maybe we always were?
Trump announced that if Iran kills him, he has instructed the military to utterly “decimate” Iran. If the USA is justified in committing genocide against another country in response to the assassination of our leader Why isn’t Iran justified in wanting Trump dead after we assassinated its leader?
Listened to cnn & cspan today during errands. I yelled at the poor radio so much! Dr. Oz, an idiot claiming Trump rape accusations are fake/Platner's are real, Trump blathering about a NATO Summit love fest. The media? Silent or weak rebuttals. I've got follow up ??? & can ask them w/out stammering.
Without killing mail-in voting and forcing through the "SAVE" Act (as in performative)... the Republicans will never win enough seats to heavily influence/dominate policy! The Democrats will cheat... by getting more votes.

This week has been emotionally rough. Not sure why. I mean, other than the obvious. Not wearing distance glasses is... surreal in the extreme. I have a growing collection of +2 reading glasses, eyeglass chains & my first pair of sunglasses. My goal = Become the Imelda Marcos of eyewear.

You bet I voted. I dropped off my ballot yesterday. Too many women fought and were injured, died, or killed for my right to vote. MAGA men are scared near to death of the woman's vote, so ladies, get out there and cast your vote for the policies and politicians of your choice.
I've been a Phagan's customer for 30+ yrs. Not after being talked to like a child, follow-up voice mail ignored & call days later met w/a 20 min hold & disconnect once "transferred" to the office. Srvs are good but the new students don't know how to deal w/discomfort. This won't serve them well.
This is not just Cinco de Mayo. It's my 35th re-birthday! The VW Bug I was in spun & flew off an embankment. It didn't roll into the river. It slammed into 2 pine trees yards above the ground & dropped. I was critically injured. A doc told mom I lost vital signs 2x. Here I am, glad to be alive.
If highly educated crazed gunman from California didn't fire his guns, how does accusing him of using a firearm in the commission of a violent crime going to stick? I've heard nothing to suggest he got a single shot off before being taken down, cuffed, and arrested. Did I miss a memo?
