ya know. since I stopped working for pay and became a practicing disabled person, I lose track of what day of the week it is. it's even hard to tell weekday from weekend. but ya know what? EVERY DAY IS #CATURDAY! so, life is better

Banshee, a grey brindle calico, poses for the camera (okay, she posed for me...) with one paw daintily under her chin, holding a brightly colored afghan over her shoulder, while she reclines on the same afghan and stares a hole in your soul with her lovely olive eyes. Lavender ears, olive eyes, and pitch black bebe nose and whiskers. (Her beans are purple!) She's a beauty

Dali, a white calico with splatters of black and striped orange, emerges headfirst from a small paper bag. She lays, momentarily, on her side, looking quizzically at the camera (yeah, okay, at me) while she decides what to destroy next. One fully pink ear stands erect while her black and pink ear falls to the side. Pink nose, pink and black beans. She's slender like a Siamese with an angular face, and she sings like one when she's in heat. The rest of the time, she's just a Victorian orphalen weasel goofy bebe. Weasel

This is my Annabelle. A brown and black ticked tabby with a thick white throat and delicate white mouth, chin, and whiskers. She's a forward-facing loaf here; her eyes are slits, her warm pink ears, radar. She rules the roost because she IS the First Baby. And she knows it. So, no performance today, TYVM

new summer, new Mama, new bebes cuz all the cool bebes hang out at our house #adoption, anyone?

Three small (yes, three) kittens distribute themselves down three small, brown house steps, by a simple black rail and a series of white and blue/green/turquoise plant pots filled with mints and basil and something non-edible, respectively. Top down: tiny void, tiny tuxie, and grey calico (both ends). All in front of a multi-color brick background in shades of cream, tan and brown. It is a warm and humid June day in Atlanta.

A light blue pet crate holds brindle Banshee cat...well, "holds" may not be the right word for it, since both doors (top and end) are wide open. Still, Banshee perches on the soft red towel inside, with her trout toy, and stares at you through the open roof. You are the one in the cage. Not her. Boop.

Banshee, still in the crate, is only partially visible while she plays with her trout, while Dali calmly stands up against the end and makes sure she's doing it right. See? Don't they look traumatized?
