The media whores at the NYT did something very similar though marginally less whorish than WaPo. The whores at NYT also made it sound like Trump was dropping the corrupt move when it was actually a bait & switch and NYT made the switch sound like someone else i.e. "The U.S." -- all of us! -- did it!
The media whores at the coward Jeff Bezos' personal newspaper didn't exactly bury Trump's corrupt $1.8B theft but they completely whitewashed it with a headline that makes it seem like Trump is giving up on his theft when in fact he merely reduced it while still leaving it astronomical & unjust.
This is some serious stuff. Look at what these fully respectable political scientists are saying about Trump's $1.7B outrage. They are using terms like “the aftermath of constitutional failure” and “the constitutional order has collapsed into some form of dictatorship.”
News recently broke about Trump dismissing his own $10B lawsuit against the IRS. The speculation was Trump was trying a legal end-around the judge so he could establish a $1.7B slush fund to pay off his J6 co-conspirators, which would be a massive travesty of justice. He did it about 15 min ago.
When it comes to politics, if you look at the entire population, people are a bunch of fucking idiots who neither know anything nor want to.

This seems to be the consensus view in the financial media -- that the stock market is rallying because of Trump's pathetic beta cuck extension of the ceasefire w/Iran. They don't seem to have read their own news pages about Iran seizing 2 ships and disabling a third while generally mocking Trump.
