That was Tynion's Nightwing pitch. They did Seeley/King's Grayson instead. Think Didio was just choosing the one he thought was most likely to fail to give him the excuse to off Nightwing tbh.
As much as I liked Teen Titans(03) and think Teen Titans Go is a fun show, I feel both shows portrayal of Starfire has been damaging for the character in the books. Her ditzy, broken English, fish out of water nature hasn't helped any creators progress her beyond that. Even the last issue of....

Not really enjoying the current run, but I will say that it's impressive that #Nightwing has went 10 years without being relaunched come #140.
Anyone else really liking this version of Bruce Wayne? Because as much as I enjoy the guy that always keeps his allies & own family out of any & every plan he has, I think I like the guy that actually tries to explain things to his would be girlfriend or talks books with his son more.
I'd unlocked #AbsoluteBatman a while ago, but I've finally unlocked #AbsoluteCatwoman too.
Just back from #Supergirl and I thought it was fine. Milly Allcock is great as Kara, Momoa likewise as Lobo. There is flaws to the movie, but nothing that would make me think I wouldn't want to see these characters again. Said it the other day, these movies won't always be bangers. 3.5/5
I'm kinda glad that Funko are making these and their Absolute Pops SDCC exclusives because I definitely would have fell off the wagon.
Completely respectful of everything that Frank has done for the industry, but in the year of our lord 2026, we do not need him returning to Daredevil or having a take at reinventing a DC character for the Absolute line.
I'd put real money on him being a clone of Uncle Ben, a Shield/Hydra agent, or The Chameleon. Either way I can see this going the way of Peter's parents and his sister. Forgotten in a year.

Managed to snag volume 9 and 10 of Wolfman and Perez's New Teen Titans run today. Incredibly difficult to get these at a reasonable price, but I got there in the end. Only volume 6 to get and I'll have recollected the run.

Marvel are a shit show right now. Besides getting their lunch eaten routinely by DC, now we've got A list creators calling them out for not paying other creators.
Absolute Batman #21. I've always been a Scott Snyder fan, but I think this is his best work yet, possibly his best version of Batman yet. Likewise Nick Dragotta, who is clearly having the time of his life reimagining Batman, his rogues, his allies and Gotham City. Just a boss issue of comics. 10/10.
If this is for Shadow of The Bat, or a follow on for Dark Patterns, I'm in. I mean I'm in even if it isn't, but still.
